Ramblings of a Turdy-Seben Year Old!

Just thought that I would update you on the bed making status. As you can see, I was able to get my goal accomplished. Day 5! a It was my birthday, I had to make the bed on my birthday. The Humanity! Kendall did help though. Thanks! The big question. Have I made it since? No, I would not like to start a bad habit now would I. If I feel up to it later, I will make it after lunch.

Now, about the picture. Kendall took about 10 of them for me. All bad! I am not to thrilled with the one that I posted, but it did document an accomplishment.

One of the kids that I watch asked me how old I was. I told her thirty-seven. She then repeated you are turdy-seben! That my friends is how I am feeling in the picture. TURDY-SEBEN! I hate my picture taken and have decided that in honor of my birthday I am going to attempt to lose 37 pounds. If I do this, maybe I will not feel turdy-seben. How you ask am I going to do that? Well........I am going to take up running again. There I said it, now I have to do it. I really do NOT enjoy running, in fact I hate every step! When I ran a few years ago, I felt great! I did not feel anywhere near turdy-seben, more like just turdy. I am going to shoot for a 5K in the summer. Wish me luck! Oh, by the way, we are in charge of the Brown family reunion this year. I told Kendall that we should have a Brown family 5K. He said no! I said come on Brown's are natural born runners. What do you say?

  1. You definitely don't look turdy seben! Good luck with your goal though! As far as running a 5k, I think it sounds fun...though I'd have to walk. I think Jeff is leaning towards Kendalls vote, but I am trying to convince him otherwise.

    When is the reunion anyway?

  3. That's funny! I'm not sure if I'm coming to the family reunion or not, but I can practically guarantee (with perhaps Malorie as an exception), that my side of the family will not participate in any running activities...unless it's a sport. I completely agree with you about making beds--I hate it, and do not see the point at all. At least I'm not the only one. :)
