So, I ask the question: Have you ever been finished with your laundry? Once about two years ago mine was done for about an hour. It was all the way done. Dried, folded and put away. I had even washed all the blankets and sheets. It was a nice feeling until Kendall came home from work and changed out of his work clothes and threw the not so dirty work clothes on the laundry room floor. So, I guess that laundry is my lifetime curse. I do not know how it stacks up so fast. I guess that it has to do with six people living here. I tried to implement the you do your own laundry rule with the kids, but they don't care, they would rather wear dirty clothes then work! I feel that others judge me when they do this. So, I will keep plugging away and try to whittle that pile down today. Another question: Do you like rolling socks? Tuesday, April 28, 2009

Uuuggghhh. Socks. For a few months McKayslin was our sock sorter. She thought it was great fun. Too bad that didn't last.

ReplyDeleteSocks- blah! If I could, I would have a basket in my closet with unmated socks. If you want to wear them, you'd have to mate them yourself! That would be the day!

I have a basket like that! My poor kids, they don't know that a mom is supposed to fold their socks and put them away in a drawer. If they want socks, they need to go to the basket. If they are lucky, they will find some rolled in there. Most of the time, they need to match them!
